Educational Qualification

Name of Post	Qualification
Soldier Technical	10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant(AMC)/Nursing Assistant Veterinary (RVC)	10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and Minimum 40% marks in each subject. OR 10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and Minimum 40% marks in each subject.
Soldier General Duty (All Arms)	Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading sys minimum of D Grade (33-40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Soldier Tradesman (All Arms)	8 TH Class Pass. (i) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper). (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject. 10th Class Pass. (i) Class 10th Simple Pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)	10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.

Notes:

Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai from 15 Apr 2020 to 25 Apr 2020 at Arunai Engineering College Stadium, Tiruvannamalai (T.N) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from eleven districts of Tamilnadu viz Cuddalore, Vellore, Tirupathur, Ranipet Tiruvannamalai, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Vilupuram, Kallakurichi, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu and Puducherry Dist of Puducherry (UT)

(a) Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have to bring their parents consent certificate. Format of Affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper is attached to this notification as paragraph 1(e) of Appendix A.

(b) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level and State at National level within last two years. For list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.

(c) Sportsmen who have represented district at State level and University Team or Regional Team at district level within 1st/2nd position within last two years. Sports certificates should be with registration number and from Government Recognised Sports Institutes / Bodies as under:-

(i) All Sr / Jr National Championship Certificates - Respective National Federation.

(ii) All states & District level Certificate - Respective State Sports Association

(iii) All university level Certificate - Inter University Sports Board

(iv) All School level Certificates - All India School Games Federation
